CO-FOUNDER & HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS
ANTON NELSON
Anton Nelson was born and raised in the Cayman Islands, moving over to the United Kingdom to pursue his football overseas at 14 years old. Enjoying time in League One Professional Academies, before moving over to the United States to play soccer for Valparaiso University in the NCAA Division 1.
After moving on from the United States, Anton went on to play professionally for a number of clubs in the United Kingdom. These clubs include Metropolitan Police FC in Isthmian Premier Division, Bognor Regis Town FC of the Vanarama National League South, Llanelli Town of the JD Welsh Premier League, and briefly in the Northern Irish Premiership before returning home. Anton has also represented the Cayman Islands at U15, U20, and Senior Men's Level - Appearing in World Cup Qualifiers and the Concacaf Nations League. He will be returning to play in North America in 2024.
Anton holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Business Management and experienced the lengthy tedious recruiting process when transitioning over to play at the Division 1 Level.
Through Anton’s experiences, knowledge, and connections, he has built an extensive catalog of college contacts and has an excellent level of knowledge regarding the level required to succeed.




CO-FOUNDER & HEAD OF PLAYER RELATIONS
ELIJAH SEYMOUR
Elijah Seymour, Co-owner, and Head of Player Relations at Athletes Ahead. Originally from the Cayman Islands. Elijah, a graduate of Academy Sports Club, left the island at 15 in pursuit of a professional football career, signing for Barnet FC (League 2) academy in London, England where he played for 3 years. Following his departure from Barnet FC, Elijah spent a year playing for Wingate & Finchley (Isthmithian Premier) before heading to Portugal where he would sign his first professional contract with Uniao De Madeira at 19.

After a rough first year as a professional, Elijah took his talents to Romania where he would play in the Romanian 2nd division (Liga II) for 3 seasons before moving to Canada and signing with Electric City FC (League 1 Ontario) in the spring of 2023.
Elijah has also represented the Cayman Islands at every age group from U15, U17, U20, U23, and Men’s where he has 5 caps, 1 assist and has played in the Concacaf Nations League, Olympic Qualifying and World Cup qualifying for the Cayman Islands National team.
Elijah holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Business and Science which he obtained from the University of Hertfordshire. After playing professionally in 3 different countries, including playing internationally for his country on numerous occasions, and working in a Lead Player Development Coach role at Excel Sports Management for over 9 months, Elijah is currently playing in North America where he continues to perform as well as build connections with new managers and coaches.
Lastly, he has the experience and understands the standard required in order to successfully play football at a high collegiate and professional level - He is looking to bring the same standards to Athletes Ahead.
